Andi Geary, MPT, Cert. MDT, ATC

1996 Honors graduate from University of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine.
1998 Honors graduate from West Virginia University with a Masters in Physical Therapy.
2007 Completed post graduate course work and passed exam to become certified in
Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.
2009 become certified in Graston Technique.
2010 Became owner of Elk Valley Physical Therapy.
Has acquired several hundred hours of post-graduate education focusing on orthopedics and outpatient therapy.
Actively involved in Elk River athletics and youth programs.

2012 Attended Clearwater Christian College where she played volleyball.
2016 Graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor's in Sports and Exercise Studies with a minor in Psychology and Bible.
2020 Graduated from West Virginia University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
2019 Conducted research on the affects of opioids on infants in neonatal ICU at WVU.
2020 WVU Physical Therapy Student class officer.
2020 Joined the team at Elk Valley Physical Therapy.

2012 Completed internship with Mountain River Performance Center and high speed treadmill training.
2013 Graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College with Bachelor's in Athletic Training.
2013 Received Outstanding Senior Athletic Training Award at WVWC.
2013-2014 Graduate Intern at WVWC responsible for multiple teams.
2014 Graduated from WVWC with Master's in Athletic Training.
2014 Joined the team at Elk Valley Physical Therapy.
2014 Became Athletic Trainer for Herbert Hoover High School.
Executive board member of WV Athletic Trainers' Association
2017 West Virginia Athletic Trainer of the Year

2013 Graduated from Mountwest Community & Technical College with an Associate's degree in Applied Science (Physical Therapist Assistant).
2013 Became certified in Graston Technique.
2015 Joined the team at Elk Valley Physical Therapy.
2015 Completed Part A of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy Training.
